Kościoły w Żukowie i Chwaszczynie będą rewitalizowane
150 tysięcy złotych przeznaczy gmina Żukowo na ochronę zabytków. Pieniądze trafią do parafii Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Żukowie oraz do kościoła świętych Apostołów Szymona i Judy Tadeusza w Chwaszczynie.
– O gminne pieniądze ubiegały się też osoby prywatne, jednak zdecydowaliśmy, że pierwszeństwo będą miały budynki użyteczności publicznej – mówi burmistrz gminy Żukowo Wojciech Kankowski.
Środki zostaną przeznaczone na prace konserwatorskie i restauratorskie. Aż 130 tysięcy złotych pochłoną prace w kościele w Żukowie, gdzie odrestaurowana zostanie późnobarokowa drewniana ambona oraz ołtarz boczny pochodzący z XVII wieku. Z kolei parafia w Chwaszczynie zrewitalizuje boczny ołtarz rokokowy z 2 połowy XVIII wieku. Zanim pieniądze zostały rozdzielone, specjalna komisja szacowała potrzeby wnioskodawców. To na tej podstawie rozdzielono pieniądze.
