Kilkuset rolników na konferencji „Wołowina szansą Pomorza”
Musicie skończyć z bylejakością i podjąć ryzyko zmiany – apelował dzisiaj do hodowców bydła jeden z najwybitniejszych znawców tematyki pastwisk w Polsce profesor Roman Łyszczarz z Uniwersytetu Technologiczno – Przyrodniczego w Bydgoszczy.
Naukowiec był gościem konferencji „Wołowina szansą dla Pomorza”, którą w Kościerzynie już po raz kolejny zorganizował Pomorski Ośrodek Doradztwa Rolniczego. Wzięło w niej udział prawie 200 rolników z całych Kaszub. Jak podkreślał profesor Łyszczarz hodowcy powinni zweryfikować swoją postawę.
Na Kaszubach najwięcej bydła mięsnego hodują rolnicy z powiatów kościerskiego, kartuskiego i chojnickiego. To trzeci pod względem wielkości produkt eksportowy naszego kraju. Spożycie wołowiny kulinarnej w Polsce wynosi nieco ponad półtora kg na jednego mieszkańca, tymczasem w Stanach Zjednoczonych czy Francji jest to prawie dwudziestokrotnie więcej.
