Kaszubskie miasta mogą być piękniejsze dzięki unijnym pieniądzom
Niemal 400 milionów złotych z unijnych funduszy dostanie pomorze na rewitalizację swoich miast. Środki pochodzą z Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego województwa na lata 2014 -2020 i mają być przeznaczone modernizację istniejącej zabudowy i zagospodarowanie przestrzeni.
– Chodzi o to, żeby zaangażować w działania mieszkańców miast, aby czuli się jak u siebie, a nie na marginesie społecznym – tłumaczy marszałek województwa pomorskiego, Mieczysław Struk.
Mowa np. odnowie Biskupiej Górki w Gdańsku czy gdyńskiej dzielnicy Meksyk. Celem są nie tylko działania infrastrukturalne, samorządowcy chcą połączyć projekty z rewitalizacją społeczną i walką z problemami takimi jak np. alkoholizm czy przestępczość dziecięca. Minister Infrastruktury podpisał wczoraj umowę z MARSZAŁKIEM WOJEWÓDZTWA na mocy której przekazał pomorskim miastom 4 miliony złotych na dokumentację programów. – Aby programy rewitalizacji były skuteczne, nie da się nim sterować odgórnie, to mieszkańcy muszą się wykazać inicjatywą mówi wiceminister rozwoju i infrastruktury, Paweł Orłowski. Programami rewitalizacyjnymi urząd marszałkowski chce objąć nie tylko Trójmiasto, na wsparcie liczyć mogą m.in. Puck, Pelplin czy Kartuzy. Najpilniejsze potrzeby w tym zakresie mają wskazać właśnie samorządy dotowanych miast.
