Kaszubski Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Sierakowice świętuje 35-lecie
Kaszubski Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Sierakowice obchodzi w tym roku jubileusz 35-lecia. Zespół powstał 3 grudnia 1980 roku z inicjatywy władz gminnych, Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko Pomorskiego i Gminnej Spółdzielni „Samopomoc Chłopska”.
– Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Sierakowice zdobywał w przeszłości wiele wyróżnień na festiwalach międzynarodowych, mówi kierownik Irena Kulwikowska.
Obecnie zespół działa przy Gminnym Ośrodku Kultury w Sierakowicach, który w dużym stopniu finansuje jego działalność. Członkami zespołu jest głównie młodzież szkół gimnazjalnych, średnich i studenci. Aktualnie zespół liczy 46 członków, w tym 13 osób to muzycy z kapeli. Zespół występował już w wielu miejscach za granicą. Nagrał tez płyty CD „Pòjedzeme na Kaszëbë” i „Suita Tańców Kaszubskich”. Grupa uczestniczyła też w nagraniach dla Telewizji Polskiej i Polskiego Radia. (Foto: Zespół Sierakowice)
