Kaszëbsko Jednota komentuje debatę w europarlamencie
W Europie jest też nasze miejsce. Kaszubi nie stanowią Europy, Kaszubi są Europą – czytamy w komunikacie Kaszëbsczi Jednotë, który ukazał się na stronach tego stowarzyszenia jako swoisty komentarz do wczorajszej debaty w Strasburgu.
Parlament Europejski debatował tam nad obecną polityczną sytuacją w Polsce. Eurodeputowani pytali o zmiany, jakie zachodzą w polskim państwie po jesiennych wyborach parlamentarnych i objęciu władzy przez Prawo i Sprawiedliwość. W dyskusji udział wziął także przedstawiciel Wolnego Sojuszu Europejskiego – po angielsku European Free Alliance. Kataloński europoseł Josep Maria Terricasbras Noqueras, przewodniczący frakcji EFA, zapytał polską premier Beatę Szydło o zamiary rządu wobec Ślązaków i ich dążeń o uznanie za mniejszość etniczną. Jednocześnie wszyscy członkowie Parlamentu Europejskiego i delegacji reprezentującej Polskę na debacie w Strasburgu otrzymali ulotki informujące o „sprawie ślaskiej”, przygotowane przez EFA oraz Ruch Autonomii Śląska i Stowarzyszenie Osób Narodowości Śląskiej.
Zostało to skomentowane na stronach internetowych stowarzyszenia.
– Argumentując nasze zabiegi o członkowstwo w European Free Alliance wielokrotnie powtarzaliśmy, że jest to dla Kaszubów szansa na znalezienie się w europejskim dyskursie i stałą w nim obecność. Przykład Ślązaków potwierdza ten argument – Kaszebskô Jednota.
