Kartuzy mogą się poszczycić największą w świecie jajecznicą. Przygotowano ją w sobotę na zakończenie Dni Kultury Kaszubskiej. Pomysłodawcą i organizatorem był Marek Leyk z Grzybna. Przepis jest bardzo prosty – jeśli chcemy ugościć kilkaset osób kaszubską prażnicą wystarczy wziąć 30 tysięcy jajek, po sto kilogramów smalcu i boczku, dolać 50 litrów mleka i wrzucić 29 kg szczypiorku. Potrzebna jest też specjalna patelnia o powierzchni 24 metrów. Przygotowana w Kartuzach potrawa ważyła półtorej tony i była o ponad 300 kilogramów cięższa niż dotychczasowa rekordzistka z Nowej Zelandii. emocje w kulminacyjnym momencie udzieliły się też burmistrz Kartuz Mirosławie Lehman. W konkursie podczas zbiorowej degustacji jajecznicy najlepszy zawodnik zjadł jej aż półtora kilograma w 15 minut – w nagrodę pojedzie na 3 dni do SPA z osobą towarzyszącą. Gratulujemy: panu zwycięstwa a organizatorom udanej jajecznicy i czekamy na obiecany bigos.
