W Wejherowie podpisano dziś decyzję tej sprawie. Według rządowych planów powstać mają 42 km drogi od węzła Wielki Kack do okolic Bożegopola Wielkiego. To dwie trzecie pierwotnego planu, według którego nowa droga ekspresowa miała połączyć Trójmiasto z Lęborkiem.
Decyzję w Wejherowie na spotkaniu z samorządowcami podpisał wiceminister infrastruktury Kazimierz Smoliński. Przetarg na odcinek z Wielkiego Kacka przez Szemud do Luzina ma być ogłoszony jeszcze dzisiaj. Trzeci – do Bożegopola – pod koniec maja – poinformował dyrektor gdańskiego oddziału GDDKiA Radosław Kantak. Według wstępnych szacunków, drogowcy mogliby się pojawić na placu budowy wiosną przyszłego roku. Prace przy budowie Trasy Kaszubskiej potrwają 2 – 3 lata.
