Pomorskie Inwestycje kolejowe za 6 miliardów złotych
Inwestycje kolejowe na Pomorzu za 6 mld zł ułatwią podróże i dostęp do portów. Przekazany do konsultacji społecznych Krajowy Program Kolejowy przewiduje 12 projektów do realizacji.
– Priorytetowe dla Pomorza są inwestycje wokół portów w Gdyni i w Gdańsku – mówi prezes PKP PLK, Ireneusz Merchel.
Zakłada on m.in. budowę nowych linii, rewitalizację torów i infrastruktury towarzyszącej, by zwiększyć przepustowość połączeń i umożliwić szybszą jazdę składów. Na liście projektów podstawowych jest 10 inwestycji: m.in. na odcinku Chylonia – Słupsk oraz linii 201 łączącej Trójmiasto z Bydgoszczą poprzez Kościerzynę. Jeżeli znajdą się oszczędności zostaną przeznaczone na modernizację linii kolejowej między Lipuszem, Kościerzyną i Bytowem oraz Kartuzami i Sierakowicami. – Czas przejazdu na modernizowanych trasach skróci się do 30-tu procent – ocenia wiceminister infrastruktury i budownictwa, Kazimierz Smoliński. Łącznie w ramach programu zmodernizowana zostanie ponad połowa z niemal tysiąca dwustu kilometrów linii kolejowych w województwie pomorskim.
