Haft żukowski na Krajowej liście niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego
Żukowskie hafciarki mają już ministerialną decyzję o wpisaniu haftu żukowskiego na Krajową listę niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego. Maria Płotka, Bernadeta Reglińska i Martyna Płotka odebrały dokument na gali w krakowskich Sukiennicach, zamykającej Forum 16+1 na temat niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego z udziałem ekspertów z Chin i państw Europy Wschodniej.
Galę poprzedził pokaz tradycyjnych umiejętności oraz prezentacja prac hafciarek w Międzynarodowym Centrum Kultury. Duże zainteresowanie wzbudzały kaszubskie stroje oraz to, że haft zdobi nie tylko obrusy i serwety, ale także krawaty, bluzki, sukienki i wiele innych przedmiotów użytkowych.
Na Krajowej liście niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego znajduje się teraz 17 pozycji, wśród nich polskie tańce narodowe, sokolnictwo, bartnictwo, czy język esperanto. Haft żukowski znalazł się w tym gronie w październiku ubiegłego roku dzięki inicjatywie Fundacji Skansenu Pszczelarskiego. Teraz czyni ona starania by szkołę żukowską wpisano na Listę reprezentatywną niematerialnego dziedzictwa ludzkości prowadzoną przez UNESCO.
