Gminna spółka zarządza siecią wodną i kanalizacyjną
Zarządzanie siecią wodną i kanalizacyjną w Żukowie przejęła gminna Spółka Komunalna. On nowego roku wykonuje zadania dotychczas powierzane prywatnemu Zakładowi Usług Komunalnych.
– Dla gminy natomiast przejęcie tych obowiązków było niezbędne, ponieważ samorząd przygotowuje się do realizacji potężnej inwestycji wodociągowej – informuje burmistrz Wojciech Kankowski.
Mieszkańcy tej zmiany nie odczują – z ich perspektywy zmienił się jedynie odbiorca opłat za wodę i ścieki oraz adresat zgłoszenia awarii. Plany obejmują wybudowanie 80 km sieci kanalizacyjnej w największych miejscowościach gminy Żukowo. Ma to kosztować prawie 70 mln zł.
