Powstaną nowoczesne węzły komunikacyjne?
W Kartuzach, Luzinie, Redzie i Żukowie a także w gminach Stężyca i Somonino – tu między innymi mają powstać nowoczesne węzły komunikacyjne. Unikatowy w skali kraju projekt planuje Związek Zintegrowanych Inwestycji Terytorialnych skupiający 36 gmin z Gdańskiego Obszaru Metropolitalnego.
Łącznie na Pomorzu ma powstać 179 tras rowerowych, zatoki autobusowe oraz nowoczesne węzły rozbudowane o parkingi rowerowe i samochodowe. W gminie Stężyca węzeł miałby powstać w Gołubiu, gdzie łączyłby istniejącą linię kolejową, drogę powiatową oraz projektowaną sieć ścieżek rowerowych. Wójt gminy Tomasz Brzoskowski liczy, że budowa mogłaby się rozpocząć już za 2 lata. Na powstanie węzłów w kilkunastu miejscowościach Związek Zintegrowanych Inwestycji Terytorialnych chce pozyskać z Unii Europejskiej dofinansowanie w wysokości 244 mln zł.
