Edmund Lewańczyk obchodzi 60-lecie pracy artystycznej
Konferansjer, kierownik zespołu, gawędziarz ludowy, kompozytor, folklorysta, choreograf, propagator kultury kaszubskiej – Edmund Lewańczyk z Żukowa będzie obchodzić jutro benefis 60-lecia pracy artystycznej.
– To człowiek orkiestra mówi o nim Lidwina Krefta, prezes ZKP Żukowo.
Pierwszy publiczny koncert wykonał wraz z Wiktorem Smukałą w 1955 r. dla uczniów Liceum Pedagogicznego w Żukowie. W czasie służby wojskowej zorganizował zespół „Czarne Berety”. Przez ok. 30 lat był członkiem chóru Harmonia, przez 6 lat kierownikiem Kaszubskiego Zespołu Folklorystycznego Bazuny, a w latach 2002-2013 kierownikiem artystycznym zespołu Redzanie. Wydał z nimi dwie płyty jest także autorem kolęd kaszubskich. Jest wielokrotnym laureatem Turnieju Gawędziarzy Ludowych Kaszub i Kociewia w Wielu. Benefis odbędzie się jutro w Hali Widowiskowo-Sportowej przy Gimnazjum nr 2 w Żukowie. Uroczystość rozpocznie się o 17:00.
