Drewno w zamian za pomoc przy usuwaniu powalonych przez nawałnicę drzew zaoferowała gmina Sulęczyno. Akcja spotkała się z dużym odzewem mieszkańców.
Połamane i pochylone drzewa będą usuwane z działek, które są własnością samorządu. Zainteresowani zgłaszali się do urzędu, by uzgodnić termin i miejsce prac. Mają być one przeprowadzone do 15 października. – To jedyne wyjście, by szybko uprzątnąć zniszczone przez kataklizm miejsca – komentuje wójt Sulęczyna Bernard Grucza. W gminie Sulęczyno do uprzątnięcia jest około 2 hektarów terenu. Chętnych mieszkańców zgłosiło się tak wielu, że gmina błyskawicznie zakończyła nabór. Każdy otrzymał do uprzątnięcia około 50 m2.
