Dbają by rękodzieło w Sworach nie zginęło – na bezpłatnych warsztatach z wikliniarstwa. Do grupy można się jeszcze przyłączyć.
– Ta druga technika jest silnie związana z historią miejscowości – wyjaśnia Dominik Dykier z Wiejskiego Domu Kultury w Swornegaciach.
Projekt realizowany jest ze środków Ministerstwa Pracy i Polityki Społecznej. Oprócz wskrzeszenia tradycyjnego rzemiosła celem jest aktywizacja osób bezrobotnych i starszych. Na zajęciach uczestnicy uczą się wyplatać przedmioty z wikliny i sosnowych korzeni, zwanych sworami. Można jeszcze dołączyć do grupy – najbliższe zajęcia odbędą się we wtorek 4 sierpnia w Domu Kultury w Sworach, początek o godzinie 11:00.
