Czerwona flaga oznacza kategoryczny zakaz wchodzenia do wody – przypomina Komenda Wojewódzka Policji w Gdańsku.
Apel ma związek z wczorajszymi wypadkami w Łebie i Ustce, gdzie po wejściu do morza zaginęły dwie dziewczynki. 7 latka w Ustce kąpała się w Bałtyku w towarzystwie rodzica mimo wywieszonej czerwonej flagi. Zakaz kąpieli zignorowali także wypoczywający w Łebie, tam fale zabrały 11-latkę, która do wzburzonej wody weszła wraz z ojcem i bratem. Wczoraj warunki były bardzo trudne, dla własnego bezpieczeństwa bezwzględnie należy przestrzegać zaleceń ratowników – przypomina policja. Czerwona flaga oznacza zakaz kąpieli. Wywiesza się ją m.in. gdy temperatura wody spadnie poniżej 14 stopni Celsjusza, gdy wykryte zostanie jej skażenie, przy falach powyżej 70 cm i gdy występują silne prądy wsteczne. Policja przestrzega też przed kąpielą w miejscach niestrzeżonych i po spożyciu alkoholu. Zgubna nad wodą jest także brawura. Wczoraj w jeziorze Długim w Borzestowie w powiecie kartuskim utonął 34-letni mężczyzna z powiatu malborskiego. Przepłynął całe jezioro, ale w drodze powrotnej zabrakło mu sił. Utonął kilkanaście metrów od brzegu.
