Czerwona flaga na 12 kąpieliskach nad Zatoką Gdańską
Do dwunastu wzrosła liczba zamkniętych kąpielisk nad Zatoką Gdańską. Czerwona flaga także w jednym kąpielisku w Garczynie koło Kościerzyny. Nie można się kąpać bo kwitną sinice.
– Nie wiadomo jak długo zakaz się utrzyma, sytuacja jest dynamiczna i zależna od pogody – mówi rzecznik wojewódzkiego sanepidu Anna Obuchowska.
Toksycznym bakteriom, które pojawiły się przy brzegu Zatoki Gdańskiej w poniedziałkowe popołudnie sprzyjały panujące w ostatnio upały. Zakaz kąpieli obowiązuje obecnie na obydwu kąpieliskach w Sopocie: Kamienny Potok i Łazienki Południowe, na wszystkich czterech kąpieliskach w Gdyni czyli: Śródmieściu, Redłowie, Orłowie i w Babich Dołach. Podobnie sytuacja wygląda w Gdańsku, gdzie zamknięte są kąpieliska: Jelitkowo, Molo Brzeźno, Dom Zdrojowy Brzeźno oraz Klipper Jelitkowo. Poza Trójmiastem zamknięte jest kąpielisko w Mechelinkach i Rewie. Skażone kąpielisko łatwo rozpoznać – woda w nim jest brunatna i mętna, często nieprzyjemnie pachnie. Sinice mogą pojawiać się również w wodach śródlądowych, w rzekach i jeziorach. – Nie warto ryzykować kąpieli w takim miejscu, bo można się narazić na przykre dolegliwości. Na razie kąpać się można na gdańskich Stogach i Wyspie Sobieszewskiej, jednak Sanepid zaleca ostrożność i stosowanie się do znaków ostrzegawczych na plażach.
