Usunąć szpecące banery i zadbać o zieleń – mieszkańcy Chwaszczyna chcą poprawy estetyki tej miejscowości. Do wypracowania spójnej polityki dotyczącej rozmieszczenia reklam dąży Komitet Mieszkańców ulic Rewerenda i Polnej – który z sukcesem starał się w GDDKiA o zamontowanie świateł przy niebezpiecznym skrzyżowaniu. Teraz do dyskusji chcą zaprosić wszystkich mieszkańców Chwaszczyna, a także przedsiębiorców i przedstawicieli instytucji społecznych. Na działania, które mają skutkować wyeliminowaniem uciążliwych reklam, komitet mieszkańców Rewerenda i Polnej z Chwaszczyna pozyskał pieniądze z Akumulatora Społecznego. To fundusz pozyskany z ministerstwa pracy przez siedem organizacji z Pomorza, w planach są jeszcze cztery rozdania mini-grantów.
