Chcą większej pomocy ze strony służb wojewody i interwencji wojska
Większej pomocy ze strony służb wojewody i interwencji wojska domagają się samorządy z powiatu chojnickiego. Na razie ze skutkami piątkowej nawałnicy walczą strażacy, leśnicy, energetycy i sami mieszkańcy.
– Na przywrócenie zasilania niektórzy mieszkańcy mogą czekać nawet dwa tygodnie – mówił dzisiaj naszej reporterce Ani Cupa-Dziemińskiej burmistrz Brus Witold Ossowski.
Tylko w gminie Brusy uszkodzonych lub całkowicie zniszczonych jest ponad 800 budynków. To głównie zerwane dachy i zalane mieszkania. W większości wsi wciąż nie ma zasilania energetycznego. Najpilniej pomoc potrzebna jest przy usuwaniu tysięcy powalonych drzew, które zniszczyły linie energetyczne. Piątkowa nawałnica w Brusach uszkodziła również wieżę kościoła, zniszczony jest park w centrum miasta oraz wiele pomników na miejscowym cmentarzu. Usuwanie skutków wichury może potrwać nawet kilka tygodni.
