Chcą szerszej współpracy z francuskimi samorządami
W powiecie wejherowskim chcą poszerzyć współpracę z samorządami francuskimi. Starosta wejherowski podpisała list intencyjny w tej sprawie z delegatami Stowarzyszenia Gmin Europe Echanges.
– Uznaliśmy, że rozszerzenie współpracy będzie niosło korzyści dla naszego powiatu i jego mieszkańców – mówi wejherowski starosta, Gabriela Lisius.
Stowarzyszenie zrzesza samorządy z 7 europejskich krajów by prowadzić wymianę doświadczeń w zakresie m.in. kultury, edukacji i ekologii. Jego członkiem od niemal 20 lat jest miasto Wejherowo, które gościło Francuzów w październiku. Podpisany w czwartek list intencyjny jest konsekwencją prowadzonych wówczas rozmów. Współpraca ma być skupiona przede wszystkim na młodzieży ponadgimnazjalnej, w planach są m.in. wymiany, obozy językowe czy organizacja wydarzeń kulturalnych i artystycznych – mówi prezes Europe Echanges Benoti Moulin. Mówi również mer gminy Darnétal, Christian Lecerf. W czerwcu samorządowcy z wejherowskiego powiatu rewizytują gości z Francji by podpisać Kartę Współpracy.
