Szlaban na ryzyko! Pod tym hasłem rusza 11 edycja kampanii Bezpieczny Przejazd.
Od 2005 roku w jej ramach PKP PLK uświadamia, do czego może prowadzić brawura, pośpiech, rutyna oraz skłonność do ryzyka przy przekraczaniu skrzyżowań na terenach kolejowych. Organizowane są symulacje, konkursy, happeningi, prelekcje dla dzieci, patrole Straży Ochrony Kolei w terenie oraz szeroko zakrojona kampania informacyjna w mediach, na plakatach i ulotkach. Przez ostatnich 10 lat koncentrowała się ona przede wszystkim na informowaniu o tragicznych skutkach zderzenia z pędzącym pociągiem. Aby dodatkowo wzmocnić ten przekaz, w tym roku podkreślone zostaną dwa aspekty: podejmowanie skrajnego ryzyka oraz psychologiczne następstwa wypadków – skutków brawury, rutyny i pośpiechu. – Wszystkie przejazdy kolejowo-drogowe niezależnie od kategorii gwarantują pieszym i kierowcom bezpieczne pokonanie torów. Pod jednym warunkiem: poszanowania przepisów o ruchu drogowym – zwraca uwagę wiceprezes Zarządu PKP PLK Andrzej Pawłowski w oświadczeniu przesłanym do redakcji przez zespół prasowy Polskich Linii Kolejowych. W ciągu minionych 12 miesięcy w wyniku nieprzestrzegania przepisów na przejazdach poszkodowanych zostało 69 osób. Wskutek wtargnięcia na tory w miejscach niedozwolonych ucierpiało 241 pieszych.
