Baza potencjalnych dawców szpiku powiększyła się o 873 osoby – dzięki akcji dla 36-letniego mieszkańca Mojusza w gminie Sierakowice.
Pan Paweł w listopadzie zachorował na ostrą białaczkę limfoblastyczną. Jedyną szansą na powrót do zdrowia jest przeszczep szpiku od osoby niespokrewnionej. Z pomocą przyszła Fundacja DKMS oraz rodzina i znajomi. Na apel odpowiedzieli nie tylko mieszkańcy Mojusza, ale i dawcy z Kartuz, Kościerzyny i Trójmiasta. Do rejestracji zachęcała też Katarzyna Łaszewska, mieszkanka Brodnicy Górnej, która w ubiegłym roku również zachorowała na ostrą białaczkę limfoblastyczną. W tym przypadku udało się znaleźć genetycznego bliźniaka, a pani Katarzyna jest dziś zdrowa, po przeszczepie.
