Pilotaż systemu Roweru Metropolitalnego MEVO najprawdopodobniej wystartuje 3 tygodnie później niż zakładano. Terminu wyznaczonego na 18. listopada nie uda się dotrzymać z przyczyn technicznych i organizacyjnych.
Jak czytamy w komunikacie przesłanym do naszej redakcji na wdrożenie MEVO składa się wiele powiązanych elementów – konstrukcja wzorcowego pojazdu i uruchomienie technologii produkcji, instalacja 660 stacji postojowych, system informatyczny pozwalający na zarządzanie i wypożyczanie jednośladów oraz uruchomienie centrum monitoringu. Objąć ma 14 gmin – z Trójmiasta przez Rumię, Redę i Puck do Władysławowa oraz przez Żukowo i Kartuzy do Stężycy i Sierakowic.
