Ruszył przetarg na zakup pociągów dla Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej
Ruszył przetarg na zakup pociągów dla Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej. O kontrakt rywalizują dwie firmy – Pesa z Bydgoszczy i Newag z Nowego Sącza. Na zakup 10 pojazdów Urząd Marszałkowski przeznaczył 146 mln złotych. Przypomnijmy, że PKM to największa inwestycja infrastrukturalna na Pomorzu. Połączenie między centrum Gdańska a lotniskiem w Rębiechowie ma być gotowe za niespełna półtora roku. Inwestycja umożliwi też szybsze połączenie z resztą Kaszub, w tym z Kartuzami, Kościerzyną i Bytowem. Ogłoszony przetarg obejmuje zamówienie siedmiu trzyczłonowych i trzech dwuczłonowych pociągów spalinowych. Firma Newag oferuje ich przygotowanie za 120 i pół mln złotych, Pesa – taniej, za 114 mln. Cena nie jest jednak jedynym kryterium. W ocenie pod uwagę będą brane również koszty utrzymania, warunki techniczne, koszty zużycia paliwa a także wskaźniki eksploatacyjne – podaje Urząd Marszałkowski. Pociągi mają jeździć z szybkością 120 km/h. Mają być bezpieczne i wygodne dla pasażerów – wagony i toalety wyposażone będą w intercomy umożliwiające komunikację z kabiną motorniczego, a ten będzie na bieżąco w kontakcie z Lokalnym Centrum Sterowania, orientację w pociągach pasażerom będą ułatwiały też dynamiczne systemy informacji oparte na technologii LED. Zwycięzcę przetargu na zakup pociągów PKM poznamy w przyszłym tygodniu.
