Ponad 100 mln będą kosztowały nowe pociągi PKM
Ponad 100 mln złotych będą kosztowały nowe pociągi Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej. Zarząd województwa podpisał umowę na dofinansowanie tej inwestycji. Trasą Pomorskiej Kolei z centrum Gdańska do portu lotniczego w Rębiechowie a dalej do Kartuz, Kościerzyny i Bytowa pojedziemy już za niespełna półtora roku. To największa transportowa inwestycja województwa pomorskiego. Na linii będzie kursowało 10 pociągów. Będą dostępne dla niepełnosprawnych i co najmniej w 40 proc. niskopodłogowe. Wagony i toalety mają być klimatyzowane i wyposażone w intercomy oraz system informacyjny oparty na technologii LED. Wstępny koszt zakupu taboru szacowany był na 147 mln złotych. Po pierwszych przetargach okazało się, że zakup będzie tańszy o około 20 mln. Inwestycję dofinansuje Unia Europejska. Za półtorej roku będzie się można przesiąść do nowych pociągów z samochodów, co zmniejszy korki w Trójmieście i trasach dojazdowych – ma nadzieję marszałek województwa Mieczysław Struk. Pociągi Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej mają się rozpędzać do 120 km na godzinę. Linia ma być otwarta w połowie 2015 roku.
