Na Pomorzu powstaną dwa historyczne szlaki turystyczne
23 mln zł dofinansowania otrzymały dwie parafie na utworzenie historycznych szlaków turystycznych. Proboszczowie podpisali już umowy z marszałkiem województwa pomorskiego.
Parafia katedralna Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Pelplinie odpowiedzialna będzie za Szlak Kościołów Książąt Pomorskich. Oprócz świątyni w Pelplinie znajdzie się na nim sześć kościołów: w Kokoszkowach, Czersku i Tczewie. Natomiast Szlak Sanktuariów Maryjnych Pomorza utworzy parafia pw. Narodzenia Najświętszej Marii Panny w Piasecznie. Obejmie on także sanktuaria w Swarzewie, Sianowie, Lubiszewie Tczewskim, Wielu oraz Kościerzynie. We wszystkich jedenastu kościołach zostaną przeprowadzone prace konserwatorskie i renowacyjne. Obydwa szlaki zostaną oznakowane, wydane zostaną mapy, przeszkoleni przewodnicy, powstaną też internetowe strony umożliwiające odbycie wirtualnej wycieczki.
Utworzenie szlaków: Kościołów Książąt Pomorskich i Sanktuariów Maryjnych Pomorza będzie w sumie kosztować 40 mln zł.
