Linia kolejowa z Kokoszek do Glincza będzie remontowana
Jak podaje portal samorządu województwa pomorskie.eu, informację o remoncie linii kolejowej przekazał prezes PKP PLK podczas posiedzenia sejmowej komisji infrastruktury.
Oznacza to, że mieszkańcy Kartuz nie zostaną odcięci od transportu kolejowego podczas remontu magistrali z Gdyni do Kościerzyny. Prace na niej mogą potrwać nawet trzy lata. Zakres jest tak duży, że kursowanie pociągów będzie zawieszone. O zapewnienie alternatywy zabiegali pomorscy samorządowcy, media oraz sympatycy transportu kolejowego. Jednak trasa przez Kokoszki będzie nie tylko trasą objazdową dla remontowanej linii 201.
Jak podkreślił pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk – będzie też pełniła rolę drugiego ogniwa spajającego Trójmiasto z Kartuzami i Kościerzyną. Aby pociągi mogły pojechać do Kartuz przez Kokoszki niezbędna będzie budowa około półtora kilometra torów między Kokoszkami a stacją PKM Gdańsk Kiełpinek. Brakujący odcinek miałby wybudować samorząd województwa pomorskiego.
