Pięć pociągów elektrycznych kupił samorząd województwa pomorskiego
Podpisano umowę z firmą z Nowego Sącza. Składy pojadą do Słupska, pierwszy kurs już w grudniu. To będzie nowa jakość na pomorskich torach. Jak podkreślił marszałek Mieczysław Struk – samorząd do tej pory inwestował w tabor spalinowy.
Teraz czas na składy elektryczne. Umowa dotyczy pięcioczłonowych Impulsów produkowanych przez spółkę Newag. Mają jeździć co najmniej 160 km/h i pomieścić ponad 500 osób. Jest w nich blisko 200 stałych miejsc siedzących i 20 na rowery, klimatyzacja, monitoring i udogodnienia dla osób niepełnosprawnych. Zostaną skierowane na linię ze Słupska przez Wejherowo, Gdynię to Trójmiasta i Malborka z możliwością kursowania na trasie PKM oraz do Kartuz i Kościerzyny po modernizacji linii kolejowych. Wszystkie mają zacząć kursować najpóźniej w pierwszym kwartale przyszłego roku. Pięć nowych Elektrycznych Zespołów Trakcyjnych typu Impuls będzie kosztować około 123 mln zł. Z tego ponad 92 mln zł to unijne dofinansowanie, reszta będzie pochodzić ze środków własnych samorządu województwa pomorskiego.
