Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna wprowadza rezerwację na przewóz rowerów. Będzie ona obowiązywać od 26 maja, czyli już w tę sobotę. Ma to zapobiec sytuacjom z ubiegłych lat, gdy pasażer z ważnym biletem nie mógł wsiąść do pociągu bo wszystkie miejsca rowerowe były już zajęte.
Opłaty za rezerwację wynosić będą 3 zł przy przejeździe jednorazowym oraz 30,00 zł jako odpłatność miesięczna. Przy czym posiadacze biletu okresowego na przewóz roweru mają obowiązek rezerwować bezpłatnie miejsce na konkretny pociąg, w którym będą się przemieszczać w danym dniu. Zakupić rezerwację na przewóz roweru można w kasie biletowej i u kierownika pociągu. Do końca miesiąca taka możliwość ma być też w internetowym systemie zakupu biletów. W pociągach obsługiwanych przez Elektryczne Zespoły Trakcyjne kursujące między Gdańskiem a Lęborkiem opłaty za rezerwację na przewóz rowerów nie będą pobierane.
