Budynek CKiB w Brusach zostanie zmodernizowany
Zostanie zmodernizowany i powiększony. W przyszłym roku generalny remont czeka budynek Centrum Kultury i Biblioteki w Brusach. Władze miasta pozyskały na ten cel 2 mln złotych z Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego.
– Część prac przygotowawczych tej inwestycji już wykonaliśmy – mówi burmistrz Brus, Witold Ossowski.
Dzięki dofinansowaniu, budynek zmieni swoje oblicze, które zyskał w latach 70 XX wieku. Całkowitemu odnowieniu ma zostać poddana sala widowiskowa oraz sala lustrzana, a także pomieszczenia biblioteki na piętrze, które po przebudowie, tworzyć będą jedno, większe i spójne wnętrze, w którym swoje miejsce znajdzie czytelnia główna z wypożyczalnią, kawiarenka literacka i sala komputerowa. Rozbudowie zostanie poddana również tzw. „galeria”, mieszcząca się tuż obok sali widowiskowej Centrum Kultury i Biblioteki, gdzie powstanie m.in. aneks kuchenny, potrzebny przy organizacji różnych wydarzeń kulturalnych. Prace modernizacyjne mają się rozpocząć w połowie przyszłego roku.
