Straty po sierpniowej nawałnicy to co najmniej 2 mld 600 mln zł
Na 2 mld 600 mln złotych oszacował straty po sierpniowej nawałnicy Urząd Marszałkowski w Gdańsku. Raport przekazany został do Ministerstwa Rozwoju. W województwie pomorskim żywioł spowodował zniszczenia w 31 gminach z 10 powiatów.
– Na prośbę sekretarza stanu w ministerstwie rozwoju Jerzego Kwiecińskiego podjęliśmy się szacowania strat – wyjaśnia Mieczysław Struk.
Poważne straty wystąpiły w 11 nadleśnictwach oraz w lasach prywatnych w 8 powiatach. Pomorski marszałek we wrześniu zwrócił się do rządu o podjęcie działań na rzecz uruchomienia unijnej pomocy. – Nie wszystkie instytucje odpowiedziały na prośbę o udostępnienie informacji, a przyjęte do obliczeń założenia cechują się dużym umiarkowaniem – wyjaśnia Anna Błażewicz-Stasiak z pomorskiego Urzędu Marszałkowskiego. Szacunkowa kwota 2 mld 600 mln zł dotyczy wyłącznie strat bezpośrednich. Poważne straty żywioł spowodował w zasobach przyrodniczych, w infrastrukturze drogowej, energetycznej, melioracyjnej oraz w rolnictwie. Zniszczone zostały budynki mieszkalne, ośrodki turystyczne i obiekty kulturalne. Raport został przekazany do Ministerstwa Rozwoju. Rząd ma czas do 3 listopada na przekazanie wniosku o uruchomienie unijnej pomocy do Funduszu Solidarności Unii Europejskiej.
