Rajdowcy poszaleją na szutrowych trasach – w piątek startuje 14 Rajd Gdańsk Baltic Cup. Jego trasa przebiegać będzie m.in. przez gminę Szemud, gdzie szczególnie gorąco zachęcają do kibicowania.
Trzydniowy rajd rozpocznie się 26 maja w Gdańsku. Przy Europejskim Centrum Solidarności będzie jego baza z miasteczkiem rajdowym oraz imprezami towarzyszącymi. Na dodatkowe atrakcje można liczyć także w gminie Szemud, gdzie zorganizowana będzie Strefa Serwisowa z możliwością spotkania czołowych, polskich kierowców rajdowych i obejrzenia pojazdów uczestniczących w rajdzie. O jej utworzenie zabiegał wójt Szemuda Ryszard Kalkowski, który zaprasza kibiców do Przetoczyna.
Na trasę rajdowcy wyjadą w sobotę, ścigać się będą w rejonie Kolbud, Przywidza i Skarszew. Szemud jest na ich trasie w niedzielę, podobnie jak Luzino, Wejherowo, Przodkowo i Kartuzy. Organizatorem wydarzenia jest Sopockie Stowarzyszenie Sportowe Automobilklub ORSKI.
