Władze województwa pomorskiego zapowiadają inwestycje w szpitalach
Poprawie jakości usług medycznych i efektywniejszemu zarządzaniu placówkami ma też służyć połączenie trzech szpitalnych spółek w jedną.
– Połączyliśmy w jedną spółki zarządzające czterema placówkami, a nie same szpitale – przypomina pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk.
Spółka Szpitale Pomorskie powstała miesiąc temu w wyniku konsolidacji Szpitala Specjalistycznego w Wejherowie, Szpitali Wojewódzkich w Gdyni oraz Pomorskiego Centrum Chorób Zakaźnych i Gruźlicy w Gdańsku. Połączenie szpitalnych spółek ma służyć lepszemu wykorzystaniu środków unijnych – m.in. w projekcie dotyczącym budowy nowych budynków z blokami operacyjnymi i zwiększania zakresu świadczonych usług medycznych. Samorząd województwa pomorskiego zamierza inwestować we wszystkie swoje szpitale. Radni sejmiku podjęli już decyzję w tej sprawie i zaplanowali ponad 92 mln zł na wkład własny. Z funduszy unijnych chcą pozyskać około 230 mln zł.
