Sucovie wręczone – nagrody dla wybitnych mieszkańców gminy Żukowo
Władze Żukowa już po raz ósmy nagrodziły swoich mieszkańców za promocję i rozwój gminy. Podczas uroczystej gali wręczono wczoraj statuetki „Sucovia”.
W kategorii kultura nagrodę otrzymał Marian Jeliński, dzięki któremu w ubiegłym roku haft kaszubski szkoły żukowskiej został wpisany na Krajową listę niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego. Za działalność sportową wyróżniono Seniorską Drużynę Piłki Ręcznej GKS Żukowo, a za działania społeczne nagroda Sucovii trafiła do Wiolety Krause. W dziedzinie gospodarki nagrodzono firmę „Polkar” z Żukowa, a w dziedzinie edukacji – długoletnią propagatorkę języka kaszubskiego Krystynę Rogalewską. Burmistrz Żukowa Wojciech Kankowski podkreślał, jak ważna jest kultura kaszubska w promocji gminy. Podczas gali w Żukowie wręczono również honorową nagrodę za mecenat kultury, która trafiła do Michała Baryły, prezesa firmy Siódme Niebo. Specjalną nagrodę burmistrza otrzymał Robert Regliński z kaszubskiego zespołu „Bazuny”.
