Walczyli o awans w Ogólnopolskim Turnieju Wiedzy Pożarniczej
40 – miłośników pożarnictwa spotkało się dziś w siedzibie wejherowskiego starostwa. Walczyli o awans do powiatowego szczebla eliminacji w Ogólnopolskim Turnieju Wiedzy Pożarniczej.
– Chcemy także zachęcić młodzież do wiązania swojej przyszłości z pożarnictwem – mówi prezes zarządu miejsko – gminnego związku OSP w Wejherowie Zenon Wanakowski.
Organizowany jest od 40 lat przez Państwową Straż Pożarną by szerzyć świadomość zagrożeń, jakie stwarza ogień.W turnieju wzięli udział przedstawiciele wszystkich szkół gminy i miasta Wejherowo. Uczniowie musieli wykazać się wiedzą m.in. z zakresu podstaw prawnych działania straży pożarnych, znajomości sprzętu bojowego oraz taktyk pożarniczych. Dziewięciu zwycięzców spotka się ponownie w siedzibie wejherowskiego starostwa 4 kwietnia – na powiatowym szczeblu eliminacji Ogólnopolskiego Turnieju Wiedzy Pożarniczej.
