Utrudnienia dla podróżnych SKM na modernizowanych stacjach
Utrudnienia czekają na podróżnych SKM w związku z przebudową stacji Gdynia Chylonia, Gdynia Cisowa oraz Rumia Janowo. Od 10 marca część kolejek nie będzie się tam zatrzymywać. Chodzi o połączenia w szczycie komunikacyjnym – rano i po południu – w kierunku Gdańska.
– W weekendy i dni wolne od pracy rozkład powinien pozostać niezmieniony – mówi dyrektor do spraw marketingu i inwestycji spółki SKM PKP SA, Marcin Głuszek.
Zamiast co 8, SKM-ki będą zatrzymywać się w Janowie i Cisowej co 15 minut. Zmiana częstotliwości dotyczy też Chyloni – dodatkowo niektóre pociągi, które miały kończyć tam bieg, będą zatrzymywać się już na stacji Gdynia Główna. Modernizacja peronów SKM ma utrzymać standard znany już podróżnym z Wrzeszcza, Żabianki czy Sopotu Wyścigi. Perony będą zadaszone, zyskają system informacji i monitoringu, zostaną przystosowane do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych. Modernizacja zakończy się w czerwcu.
