W kwietniu ruszy budowa nowego Ośrodka Kultury w Żukowie
W kwietniu ruszy budowa nowego Ośrodka Kultury w Żukowie. Będzie się on mieścić w starym spichlerzu GS przy ulicy 3 maja. Obecnie OKiS działa w wynajętym budynku przy ulicy Mściwoja, jednak potrzeby są coraz większe a miejsca jest niewiele.
– Będzie też sala widowiskowa a okolica zostanie zrewitalizowana – postanie parking i przystań dla kajakarzy – opisywał burmistrz Żukowa Wojciech Kankowski.
Za około 10 mln zł wyremontowany zostanie spichlerz, który pomieści Kreatywne Centrum Kultury i Edukacji, Centrum Aktywności Rodzin. Powstaną kluby dla seniorów, rodziców i dzieci. Zainteresowani będą mogli korzystać z usług pedagogów i psychologów. Prace mają potrwać do października przyszłego roku.
