Kontroli spodziewać się mogą nie tylko sprzedawcy, legitymowane są także osoby kupujące. Za kradzież choinki grozi 500-t złotowy mandat bądź skierowanie sprawy do sądu, gdzie kara może być o wiele surowsza. Aby się zabezpieczyć przed tymi konsekwencjami, klient może zażądać od sprzedawcy świadectwa legalności choinki. Póki co mundurowi nie zlokalizowali żadnego stoiska w Wejherowie z nielegalnymi choinkami. Akcja potrwa do 24 grudnia.
