Młodzieżowa Rada Powiatu Wejherowskiego już działa
Są aktywni, kreatywni i chcą działać na rzecz lokalnych społeczności – uczniowie z wejherowskich szkół powołali Młodzieżową Radę Powiatu Wejherowskiego.
– Wzorem były podobne rady, działające np. w Trójmieście – mówi przewodniczący młodzieżówki Konrad Warmke.
Pomysł powołania takiego organu wyszedł z uczniowskiego samorządu wejherowskiego Zespołu Szkół nr 2, czyli popularnego „Elektryka”. Rada liczy 24. członków z samorządów uczniowskich wszystkich szkół ponadgimnazjalnych powiatu wejherowskiego oraz Liceum Ogólnokształcącego nr 2 w Rumi. Na współpracę z młodzieżą liczy wejherowska starosta Gabriela Lisius, która odebrała przysięgę od młodych radnych. Młodzieżowa Rada Powiatu Wejherowskiego – podobnie jak samorządy powiatów czy gmin – będzie zbierać się raz w miesiącu.
