NIE dla rozwoju ferm wielkoprzemysłowych na Pomorzu
Na Pomorzu wydają walkę fermom wielkoprzemysłowym – powstanie zespół ekspertów z siedmiu rządowych instytucji, który ma zahamować lawinowy rozwój wielkich hodowli trzody i drobiu.
– Tych jest bardzo dużo – od skutków zdrowotnych po poważne zagrożenia środowiskowe – wylicza Radosław Rzepecki z Wojewódzkiego Inspektoratu Ochrony Środowiska.
Powołanie zespołu zadaniowego to inicjatywa Regionalnej Dyrekcji Ochrony Środowiska. Jak tłumaczy szefowa tej instytucji Danuta Makowska – na dzisiaj nie ma prawnej możliwości odrzucenia wniosku o założenie fermy wielkoprzemysłowej. W skład zespołu oprócz fachowców z RDOŚ wejść mają także eksperci m.in. z Agencji Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa, Agencji Rynku Rolnego czy Wojewódzkiej Inspekcji Weterynaryjnej. Ich zadaniem będzie diagnoza problemu na Pomorzu i opracowanie do końca kwietnia przyszłego roku planu strategicznego zapobiegającego negatywnym skutkom rozwoju ferm wielkoprzemysłowych.
W województwie pomorskim działa obecnie prawie 120 ferm wielkoprzemysłowych. Tylko w tym roku do Regionalnej Dyrekcji Ochrony Środowiska wpłynęło 27 wniosków o założenie kolejnych.
