Dzień pracownika socjalnego obchodzono w Wejherowie
Za empatię, wysokie kompetencje i otwarcie na drugiego człowieka – dziękowano wczoraj pracownikom socjalnym z powiatu wejherowskiego.
Do powiatowych obchodów po raz pierwszy włączył się miejski samorząd Wejherowa, bo jak tłumaczył prezydent Krzysztof Hildebrandt – zaangażowanie pracowników socjalnych jest ogromne, a często niedostrzegane. W powiecie wejherowskim działa 10 ośrodków pomocy społecznej, w których zatrudnionych jest łącznie 350 pracowników socjalnych. Drzewkami Wdzięczności w tym roku wyróżniono prezydenta Wejherowa za całokształt działalności na rzecz pomocy społecznej, sędziego sądu rejonowego Ewę Grzenkowską za zaangażowanie w walkę o prawa dziecka i rodziny oraz do Zgromadzenia Sióstr Miłosierdzia św. Wincentego a Paulo – za działalność charytatywną na rzecz osób chorych i niepełnosprawnych.
