Nauczyciel Pomorza 2016 uczy w Słupsku
Piotr Sikorski z Gimnazjum w Słupsku został laureatem pierwszej edycji wojewódzkiego konkursu na Nauczyciela Pomorza. W drodze na podium pokonał 110 konkurentów.
– Ma on także zmienić nastawienie uczniów i rodziców oraz podźwignąć podupadający autorytet nauczycieli – mówi pomorski marszałek, Mieczysław Struk.
Celem konkursu było uhonorowanie pomorskich nauczycieli, wychowawców i pracowników pedagogicznych wyróżniających się wyjątkowym zaangażowaniem w pracę dydaktyczną. Spośród ponad setki kandydatów zgłaszanych przez uczniów konkursowe jury wyłoniło finałową dziesiątkę – oprócz osiągnięć dydaktycznych brano pod uwagę zaangażowanie w działalność społeczną czy zajęcia pozalekcyjne. Piotra Sikorskiego, nauczyciela geografii z 30 letnim stażem doceniono m.in. z innowacyjne wykorzystanie nowych technologii w pracy z uczniami – np. za multimedialne połączenie ze stacją badawczą na Antarktydzie podczas lekcji. Sam laureat podkreśla, że sukces to wynik pracy zespołowej. Podczas uroczystości wyróżniono także 4 innych pedagogów – wśród dwie nauczycielki języka kaszubskiego: Danutę Pioch ze szkoły podstawowej w Mojuszu oraz Felicję Baska-Borzyszkowską z Kaszubskiego Liceum Ogólnokształcącego w Brusach.
