Romeo i Julia wyznają sobie miłość po kaszubsku – dzięki tłumaczeniu najsłynniejszego dramatu szekspirowskiego. Dramat przetłumaczyła na kaszubski pisarka Ida Czaja, publikację wydało Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko-Pomorskie. Dzieło Szekspira jest znane i poważane na całym świecie, szczególnie wśród miłośników teatru. W 16. wieku była to pierwsza sztuka, której główny wątek osnuto wokół romansu, prócz ludzkiej tragedii ma w sobie elementy komiczne czy erotyczne. Czy udało się oddać magię tekstu w wersji kaszubskiej? Praca nad tłumaczeniem zajęła mi cztery lata – mówi Ida Czaja. Książkę przedmową opatrzył profesor zajmujący się kaszubską literaturą, Jerzy Treder. Romeo i Julię w języku kaszubskim można kupić za pośrednictwem strony www.kaszubskaksiazka.pl. Autorka tłumaczenia planuje tez spotkania promocyjne w najbliższych miesiącach.
