Ministestwo Nauki nie chce finansować etnofilologii kaszubskiej
Znamy nowe fakty w sprawie etnofilologii kaszubskiej. Ministerstwo Nauki twierdzi, że nie ma możliwości prawnych lepszego jej finansowania. Posłowie na wczorajszej Komisji Wspólnej Rządu i Mniejszości Narodowych oraz Etnicznych obiecywali zmiany w prawie. Chodzi o pierwszy, samodzielny kierunek studiów poświęcony Kaszubom. Etnofilologia w tym roku akademickim nie została otwarta, bo liczba studentów nie przekroczyła progu opłacalności. Czternaścioro chętnych kandydatów to dla Uniwersytetu zbyt mało ze względów finansowych, stąd władze uczelni razem ze Zrzeszeniem Kaszubsko-Pomorskim wystąpiły z dezyderatem do Komisji Wspólnej. W dokumencie proponowały obniżenie progu do 10 osób, czyli zwiększenia dotacji przypadającej na osobę. Etnofilologia mogłaby być też kierunkiem zamawianym przez ministerstwo nauki, które zgłaszałoby zapotrzebowanie na specjalistów od języka i kultury Kaszub. – Trzecia propozycja dotyczyła zniesienia opłat za drugi kierunek studiów – jeśli etnofilologię można by bezpłatnie studiować razem z innym kierunkiem, chętnych powinno być więcej – komentuje prezes ZKP, Łukasz Grzędzicki. Tak zwany współczynnik kosztochłonności można poprawić, ale władzom Uniwersytetu to może nie wystarczyć. – Na wczorajszym spotkaniu była obecna wiceminister nauki i szkolnictwa wyższego, dodaje Grzędzicki. Starania o otwarcie etnofilologii na szczeblu politycznym trwają od trzech lat, w czerwcu ruszy drugi nabór na ten kierunek studiów.
