W powiecie wejherowskim znaleziono szczątki zaginionej 40-latki
Szczątki kobiety znaleziono na jednej z posesji w powiecie wejherowskim. To finał siedmioletnich poszukiwań zaginionej 40-latki, sprawę rozwiązali gdańscy kryminalni i funkcjonariusze z policyjnego Archiwum X.
Kobieta zaginęła w 2009-tym roku. Z zebranych wówczas materiałów wynikało, że 40-latka wyszła do sklepu i już nie wróciła. Przez wiele lat nie udało się tej wersji wykluczyć. Przełomu w sprawie dokonali policjanci z zespołu ds. przestępstw niewykrytych oraz funkcjonariusze sekcji poszukiwań i identyfikacji osób Komendy Wojewódzkiej Policji w Gdańsku. Dotarli do informacji, które pozwoliły im na wytypowanie prawdopodobnego miejsca ukrycia zwłok kobiety. Szczątki znaleziono zakopane na głębokości kilkudziesięciu centymetrów na terenie posesji w powiecie wejherowskim. Do tej sprawy zatrzymano członka rodziny zaginionej, według nieoficjalnych informacji to mąż ofiary. 49-latek usłyszał już zarzut nieumyślnego spowodowania śmierci i został tymczasowo aresztowany na trzy miesiące.
Znalezione szczątki zostały przewiezione do zakładu medycyny sądowej. Badania mają potwierdzić tożsamość odnalezionych zwłok oraz mogą przyczynić się do ustalenia przyczyny śmierci.
