W weekend rusza triathlon Herbalife Ironman Gdynia
Uwaga kierowcy – w najbliższy weekend poważne utrudnienia na drogach Gdyni i powiatu wejherowskiego. Wylegną na nie tysiące triathlonistów.
– W wielu miejscach ruch będzie możliwy tylko jednokierunkowo – uprzedza Tomasz Waszkiewicz z gdyńskiego Zarządu Dróg i Zieleni.
Zawody Herbalife Ironman rozpoczą się w piątek od konkurencji dla dzieci – wyścig na Bulwarze Nadmorskim nie zakorkuje jednak dróg. Utrudnienia rozpoczną się w sobotę – od godziny 9:30 do 14:00 nieprzejezdna będzie większość ulic gdyńskiego śródmieścia, przede wszystkim Świętojańska i okolice Placu Kaszubskiego. Utrudnień należy się także spodziewać na Kamiennej Górze, Obłużu, Pogórzu i Oksywiu. W niedzielę ograniczenia będą obowiązywały już od 7:30, a godzinę później kolarze wyjadą od strony Pustek Cisowskich i przejadą pętlą wokół Koleczkowa, Nowego Dworu Wejherowskiego, Sopieszyna, Szemuda, Karczemek, Bojana i Chwarzna. Drogi powiatu będą zamknięte do 13:00, ale Piotr Netter z biura organizacji zawodów uprzedza, że godziny te mogą się zmienić. Około godziny 17:00 w niedzielę utrudnienia związane z Herbalife Ironman Gdynia mają się skończyć. Informację o zalecanych objazdach znaleźć można na internetowej stronie wydarzenia.
