Złoto i srebro przywieźli z Hiszpanii policjanci z Pomorza
Reprezentanci polskiej policji wzięli udział w największej na świecie imprezie sportowej dla przedstawicieli służb mundurowych – policji, straży pożarnej, służby więziennej, a także straży granicznej czyli European Police & Fire Games.
Trzeba było przebiec 3 km, oddając po każdym przebytym kilometrze 6 strzałów do tarczy z odległości 15. metrów. Grzegorz Tomczak z Wyższej Szkoły Policji w Szczytnie był najlepszy w biathlonie i zdobył złoto w kategorii wiekowej 40 +. Srebro wywalczył natomiast zastępca komendanta z Pucka Janusz Skosolas w kategorii 45 +. Łączny wynik pozwolił na zwycięstwo w klasyfikacji drużynowej i zdobycie złotego medalu.
