Pielęgniarka nie jest kosztem szpitala tylko jego inwestycją – mówiła dziś w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby szefowa Okręgowej Izby Pielęgniarek i Położnych w Gdańsku. Anna Czarnecka odniosła się do sytuacji w Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka.
Pielęgniarki walczyły tam o podwyżki i zwiększenie zatrudnienia – strajkując ponad dwa tygodnie. Wspierały je w tym koleżanki z różnych regionów, także z Pomorza. Strajk zakończyło porozumienie zawarte dla dobra pacjentów. – I to właśnie zapewnienie właściwej opieki nad pacjentami jest sednem problemu – mówi Anna Czarnecka – ubolewając, że pielęgniarki musiały w tak drastyczny sposób zwrócić na to uwagę.
Pielęgniarek jest zbyt mało nie tylko w Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka. To bolączka i zagrożenie bezpieczeństwa pacjentów także w naszym regionie – przestrzega przewodnicząca Okręgowej Izby Pielęgniarek i Położnych w Gdańsku.
