Promocja książki „Król Kaszubów” dzisiaj w Żukowie
„Król Kaszubów” pojawi się dzisiaj w Żukowie. Książka pod tym tytułem poświęcona zmarłemu przed 21 laty Karolowi Krefcie promowana będzie w żukowskim gimnazjum.
– Pamięć o nim pielęgnuje tamtejsza młodzież, Karol Kreft był nazywany Królem Kaszubów jeszcze za życia – mówi autor biografii Eugeniusz Pryczkowski.
Karol Kreft działał także jako starosta kartuski. Po wojnie nękany przez władze komunistyczne wycofał się z życia społecznego, zamieszkał na odludziu gdzie rozpoczął się dla niego okres twórczości literackiej, tworzonej w kilku językach. Na spotkaniu w żukowskim gimnazjum będzie można poznać historię tego nietuzinkowego działacza, promocja będzie połączona z podsumowaniem pobytu kaszubskiej delegacji u Kaszubów w Kanadzie. Spotkanie w gimnazjum w Żukowie rozpocznie się o godzinie 18:00.
