Ruszył pilotażowy program „Drogowskaz do samodzielności”
Jak bezpiecznie wejść w dorosłość – chcą uczyć młodzież z powiatu wejherowskiego. W tamtejszym Powiatowym Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie zainaugurowano pilotażowy program wsparcia dla nastolatków z pieczy zastępczej.
– Chodzi o to, by nie wrzucać tych młodych ludzi od razu na głęboką wodę – mówi dyrektor PCPR, Iwona Romanowska.
Zgodnie z ustawą o pieczy zastępczej proces usamodzielniania wychowanków rozpoczyna się od ukończenia 17-roku życia i trwać może przez 7 lat – o ile kontynuowana jest nauka. „Drogowskaz do samodzielności” rozpoczęty przez wejherowski PCPR ma być przygotowaniem do tego zadania i obejmie nastolatków z rodzin zastępczych od 16 do 18 roku życia. Uczestnicy programu będą mogli liczyć m.in. na wsparcie finansowe na pokrycie kosztów nauki, poradnictwo prawne i psychologiczne, warsztaty zawodowe czy kursy – np. pisania CV. Jak zauważa przewodnicząca wydziału rodzinnego i nieletnich wejherowskiego sądu rejonowego Ewa Grzenkowska – drogowskaz do samodzielności daje też szansę na utrzymanie młodzieży z dala od złych środowisk. Do pierwszej edycji Drogowskazu zakwalifikowano 14 wychowanków z rodzin zastępczych.
