Strażacy ochotnicy z Żukowa nie mogą doczekać się przenosin do nowej remizy OSP. Według planu stanie się to za trzy miesiące.
– Przez 30 lat ochotnicy zajmowali pomieszczenia w obecnym budynku Urzędu Gminy. Miejsca było niewiele – mówi prezes OSP w Żukowie Dawid Drewa.
Nowoczesna remiza mieszcząca się przy ulicy kościerskiej jest już prawie gotowa. Pozostało tylko ją wyposażyć. Oprócz siedziby strażaków mieścić będzie się tam Centrum Zarządzania Kryzysowego i stacja dla karetki Pogotowia Ratunkowego.
Gmina musi teraz w ramach przetargu wyposażyć jednostkę i można się wprowadzać, burmistrz Wojciech Kankowski potwierdza, że terminy zostaną dotrzymane. Budowa nowej strażnicy trwała 2 lata i kosztowała 6 mln zł.
